We have bidets in all our en-suite bathrooms, plus one in the downstairs restroom... The one in our master room is naturally always used, the ones in our children's have been deliberately put out of action until they're older... The remaining ones are used only when we have family or guests staying over.

Sitting on a normal toilet seat after using a heated one for two weeks was shockingly cold

Yes, we have one and use it regularly. I don't know that I agree with not needing any more toilet paper. You need something to dry off with after using it.

You are right, toilet paper does come in handy for dry. I guess it's just that you don't need very much of it as compared to the amount you need if you don't have a bidet. But you are right.

You can get one for less than 50 bucks, and they are very simple to install.

I don’t know if you can get it that cheap unless you install it on the toilet itself, it’s usually a separate fixture that still needs a drain and hot and cold water up, i’ve seen some in yard where they just use a sprayer like from the kitchen sink, but on the side of the toilet

The sprayer makes a mess. You want it centered over your butt and below, not to the side.

They are not very expensive and they are very easy to hook up. Just be sure your new place has a toilet with running water.
