There are many tricks & tips someone could adopt. But none of them are as fool proof as surrounding yourself with people who don't treat you like that. Here are some quotes I like that relate to this:

I don't think you can do anything as such. People either respect you or they don't. If you are not doing anything that is making people display this behavior then it means they naturally don't like you and there is nothing you can do about that.
