I look at it this way they're the owners dogs, owners' property.

If the owner is a useless waste of space and not responsible enough it shouldn't matter if they end up in jail anyway.

In every situation like this even, the whole neighborhood may throw a goodbye / get lost / don't come back celebration once the owner (s) taken away in handcuffs as many times these sorts of situations the dogs have been running loose for a while.

Yes, the most disturbing case I ever heard of was this one. She was in college trying to make extra money on the side as a dog walker. She walks in to walk an owners dogs, they bite all her clothes off and eat her face. When paramedics arrived, she was naked and bleeding a lot. I cried at least 6 times about this. Still brings tears to my eyes. Her boyfriend stayed with her and said he still loved her. She has an instagram if you wanna support her.

Well there are some dogs that are naturally more aggressive than others, but many people treat their animals VERY badly, and I think the ones that deliberately train their dogs to attack, should definitely be charged. I went to this one guys house, and he had such a beautiful friendly dog, and I gave him a dog treat. He got really angry with me for "feeding his dog" because he was trying to train him as a "guard dog". I was so disturbed by that for the rest of the day, actually several days afterwards... that poor dog! I wanted to "rescue" it, or kill the owner! LOL

Yes! I can't understand why people can't train their dogs!! All you really need is a rolled up newspaper and a stern voice! If they do something you don't want them doing, slap the paper against your thigh and say, "NO!". You don't have to hit THEM! It's that loud crack when the paper hits that they don't like.
We could leave our dog on the front porch all by herself with no restraints of any kind and she'd be perfectly behaved!! She'd never run out past the curb, even if she was chasing a squirrel. I also never needed a leash to take her for walks! She ALWAYS stayed nearby! She might run 50, 60 feet ahead of me or lag that far behind but she always went where I went.

Not sure it's so black and white. There are respectable owners of dogs who aren't dangerous breeds where the dogs can behave completely out of character. Or those owners who breed dangerous dogs, encourage them to be aggressive, have a history of lashing out who don't control the dogs who then hurt someone.
If the situation is foreseeable and the owner has taken no steps to mitigate the danger to the public they should certainly be charged.

That's a case by case situation... I'd guess that a lot of dog bites were caused by the people getting bit... if your stupid and get bit that's your fault..

So no dog has ever been justified in biting a person? What If someone was attacking you and your dog stepped in and bit them... you'd go have it killed? They all deserve to die no matter what the person did to provoke them to attack? what if someone breaks into your house and your dog bites them... youd kill that dog also? Sometimes your right the dogs have to be put down because maybe they had shitty parents and have been abused all their whole life and are killers...
