Should I feel sorry for myself?

I am 24 I have not have my own apartment I don’t own a car I’m starting a new job soon that pays $11.00 I can’t get a boyfriend because men don’t take me seriously I only find players. My parents house is deteriorating. I think I’m depressed.

Who cares about having a apartment? That's really just a waste of money in today's market if you don't need need one. Better off to just stay with your parents, and safe up. Maybe help fix up their house a little.
You're gonna have to start acknowledging redflags, if you keep getting players when you keep longing for whatever trait it is that attracts you too them your gonna have to start seeing that as a warning sign.
Honestly I think guys coming over to your parents less than perfect house would be a good way to weed out players.
We all get depressed at some point, we all have are struggles, it's OK to not be ok, you don't have to get over things over night, also if you need to get help to deal with that's OK too.
Now just FYI, if you just want a boyfriend cause you think that will make you happy that's a bad idea, you need to be happy on your own, cause him being there to fix you wouldn't last forever, it gives him to much power over you..

The car thing, I don't know what to tell you, having a car is important to me but I have no ideas, the used market is complete trash right now, I haven't seen a running car for less than 2k in a long time. I haven't had to buy a car in like 5 years and I've never spent more than $1600 on the most exspensive one but those days are long gone.

I am so sorry that you feel depressed not at all though. I mean I know things are rough right not I mean we got Brandon running around making the country into a shit hole.

But let's not get into that now. I am sorry that some people are bad people. I am sure there is someone out there who won't use you for sex.

When a guy wants sex especially on the first date dump him... Just wait until marriage that is my advice.

If you're depressed you need to speak with a therapist and/or a psychiatrist to help you. If you can't afford one check with insurance and if not then there are interns that sometimes you can see for free.

Feeling sorry for yourself won't help anything. If you want to earn more money then learn some skills online.

LinkedIn Learning and Corsera are good inexpensive certification options.

With gas prices as they are a car might be more of a burden than anything else. Consider getting an electric bike instead.

The boyfriend one is a little bit harder. You'll have to change the types of men your inviting into your life which means developing some emotional intelligence and considering factors other than looks.

Althou you might feel down, that is quite the normal life for someone who's 24, nothing unusual
Just keep living life
Set one or two targets in life and work to achieve them, it will take time and a big effort, but don't give up on them, it will feel amazing when you manage to get there
Forget about boyfriends and love life, it will happen when you won't be expecting it anyway
And relationships work better with people that are focused on getting the best out of themselves, instead of just being 100% dedicated to your partner
Remember, focus on your targets... sometimes we just feel like giving up, but if we push ourselves and stay strong, we will feel super happy when we finally achieve our objectives in life

Sweetheart I know it’s tough but stay positive there are people out there who have serious health issues, disabled, chronic illness, mental disabilities and get on with life. I would be depressed over non important things first and now that I’ve got an issue with my prostate I’m like what a moron I was I wish I could go back in time all I want is my health now.

with the current economy it's hard for most single people to afford their own place to live, also hard to own their own car and pay for gas/repairs.

as for dating that might require rethinking what type of guy your are looking for. because there are guys out seeking relationships however they might not be your type.

Be strong, in life your important for yourself not having a boyfriend.
You already achieved one vital roof, second step is get a good job, if you need training or qualifications in order get professional job without second think go for it, then think about boyfriend also you don't need to look for anyone, they will come to you.

First, feeling sorry for yourself won't cute anything. Here is something to repeat to yourself... "Activity alleviates anxiety", meaning, set goals and work toward them dilligently. I would suggest learning a skill or trade that is marketable and will lead into a better paying job. Do a personality assessment to see what might be a good match. Forget a boyfriend, he will only slow you down. Work on yourself.

You feel how you feel, you can't control that. However, instead of worrying about a boyfriend, maybe work on a nicer job and securing a good place to stay and transportation first.

No, you're in q better situation than many others. Many don't have any type of home. Don't have any friends, not even players. Some are hungry and do very dirty jobs.  Be grateful.

If it makes you feel any better I was making less than you at your age and now I have a net worth of a half million. Stop worrying where you're at. Just put one foot in front of the other. Concentrate on bettering yourself each day.
