Which life would you rather have? You'd live an ordinary life until you graduate high school at age 18. Then your life will either take a dramatic turn upward (riches and automatic success), downward for the worse (depression, failure at everything you do, and other things), or continue in the same direction as it currently has. You'll die at 40, 80-ish, or 110.

I'd pick option A in a heartbeat. Live fast, die young.

Your dream life. Everything you could ever want and more. Your dream partner and dream job. Eternal happiness and gratitude. But you die childless at age 40.

Current boring-ass life. Not truly happy, but not doing that bad, either. You're mostly just boring and insignificant. Die somewhere around 80, give or take five years.

Most of your life is terrible and filled with disappointment, false hope, and failures beyond any conceivable effort you made. Die at age 110, but the last ten years will be amazing.
