What is the meaning of your username?

Just answered similar a few days ago. Here was my response to the meaning of my name:

Mine is from my childhood. My mum always used to say “Oh pretty little Priya…. don’t you worry about (insert problem here)”. That is pretty much it. It kind of stuck with me through my younger years.

My mum (embarrassingly) would do this in front of friends and other extended family. So, friends and family would call me that from time to time to more or less make fun of me or mock my mum (in a jokingly way)

At the risk of further embarrassment, maybe I was over dramatic as a young girl. Often is the case with children. Anyhow, that is the reason behind the name, although I wish I could change it as some other users have come up with some good ones.

I used to have a different username when I joined but then I decided to change. I wanted something that was unique, simple and also something that had to do with me.
So I choose "menina" which means "girl" or "little girl" (depending on the context) in my native language.

I had to look to see what my name was. It wasn't what I thought it was.

It's just a common phrase. It was a character name in a game before I used it here. I have hundreds of game character names. I just use whatever pops in my head at the time.

I always hate trying to think of names. Some people have cool names. Mine are mostly random, whatever pops in my head. A lot of names are musicians or song titles/lyrics. Some come from poems instead of lyrics. Some are book characters, but those tend to get grabbed, so only more obscure characters are available. Several were taken from whatever the weather outside happened to be when I picked a name. Some I just look around the room and pick something I see. Some are just random nonsense.

Mine is my name so no meaning... But.. Maybe I can say the story of my name!! So my mom loved a novel called Marianna she was reading it a lot it was romantic and cute! And my mom loved that name a lot since then. After some years i was born and she was thinking of how to name me way before i was born.
