USA citizens; did your independence day get rained out?

My 4th sucked, we were stuck indoors all day due to thunderstorms and all the fireworks shows were all canceled

Yes it rained on and off. It's summer in Florida... That said, fireworks shows in my neighborhood started on the 30th of June and kept going every night. They will likely continue for another 3 or 4 nights. It's not like we're waiting for some 1 or 2 hour show by the government.

Yes. I had to work today and it was like a damn hurricane lol. I open the car door and it slammed back shut with rain blowing sideways

Sort of... Today was super hot and sunny all day... until it was almost time for the fireworks, when a very localized and very intense thunderstorm rolled in... and canceled all the fireworks shows in the area.

Fortunately not, was a beautiful clear sunny day and I saw the big display at the beach, was around 80 degrees outside
