What would you do with 500 M dollars?

What would you do if you won 500 M dollars? I know what I would do! But I’m curious about what you all would do with it?

I would buy a very large piece of land and live in a very modest sized house, do some travelling, maybe buy a few things I can't afford now, but I don't want tons of possessions and clutter. I'd just want to live a comfortable life without any financial worries.

But ultimately, I would probably keep $20 million for myself (still more than I'd need, but just for "just in case" purposes), I'd shell out another $80 million to various family members to assure they were secure, and then the other $400 million I would donate toward environmental protection, cancer research and other causes etc. I wouldn't need all that money, so I'd want to spread it around to benefit better causes other than my own and to make the world a slightly better place.

I'd travel complete F1 seasons- all 22 races, flying first class and with tickets to the Paddock Club. In the off season I'd take a series of luxury cruises around the world.

In the end, I'd give most of the money to my niece and nephew, who will have more time to spend it than I will.

i'd buy myself, my brother and my mother a house. give some of it to close friends who i know could use some money

invest a portion of it

go on a massive shopping spree

and use a small fraction as a monthly allowance to quit my job & focus solely on uni. once i've got ny phd i would use the rest to start biotech/biomed company

I would buy a beautiful home and garden but no swimming pool and no brand name vehicles or exotic pets or steak dinners, we would eat marinated chicken or lamb skewers and Chinese fermented vegetables and rice paste. We would all have jobs and do volunteer work and I would try to bring at least 4 friends or family or roommates into our home.

I'd start a few businesses. One that does 3D printed concrete buildings, another that does off grid power water, another that does aquaponics.

Maybe one that makes ebikes and custom cnc/3d printing.

Of course I'd build myself a nice villa in the country, with a workshop and and garden.

Honestly I could do some amazing things with that much.

I would say I would invest it. Something to regenerate more money for you. A business that people constantly patronizes. Oh yes pay off your debts. Buy a comfortable home that is not expensive. Whatever is left over from your investments and paying your debts off spread out through several bank accounts with several Banks. Money markets, CDs. Let your money ride. You lived okay without the $500 million. And do not tell anybody that you have $500 million. You will have everybody coming knocking on your door giving you a call a pure harassment.

Not be Here, I can promise you that, I'd open up businesses and not because I'm greedy for more but it's a source of income and I'd be able to get right with God for all the bad things I've done and I'd do helpful things with the money, open shelters, events, fundraisers, maybe even open homeless shelters, it's an endless cycle if all my businesses are refilling my bank account.
