1. My father. He died in 2003. He worked in the airline industry and used to fly as a private pilot. When he died at age 63, I was 40 and a newlywed for 1.5 years and I had just gotten laid-off from my job at GE Power Systems. But, not 3 years later, I began work in the aviation industry. He would have been very interested in the work I do. Also, now that I am old - I am now almost the same age he was when he died - I have more questions that I did not ask or even think about when he was alive. I also think he would have enjoyed where I live now.

2. My maternal grandmother. She died in 1958 not quite 5 years before I was born right after my mother turned 15. So, I never knew her.

3. My dog, Tucker.

4. My dog, Jessica.
