Membership Requirements
• Be a male at least 18 years of age.
• Believe in the existence of a Supreme Being.
• Be of good moral character.
• Not have been convicted of a felony.
• Your decision to apply should be based on your own “free will and accord”
• Be recommended by at least two Freemasons from the lodge you're petitioning.

It depends on if you mean the benevolent society or the full service
The former is just be 18 and pay your dues
The latter needs you to be introduced by at least 1 freemason and voted in by the others as well as the above you need to believe in a higher power
One of my techs was a Freemason and he wanted me to join. It is a secret ceremony but that s all he would divulge. I asked him if it involved human sacrifice, He did not deny it.
