Woke up to some serious rain and thunder just now. What is your opinion of thunderstorms?

Some find it scary, some annoying, some even say it's a turn on. Me? I just find it calming, kind of a nice way to wake up.

Easily my second favorite force of nature behind what they produce being tornadoes. Love watching lightning fill the sky and see bolts go all over the place.

I have been known to jump awake though as we get some fairly bad storms.

also a friend is not to good with thunderstorms and needs cuddles.

I woke up yesterday to the sound of thunder. Not all that common in the area where I live. I find thunderstorms to be fascinating. I like watching them from a distance. And there is usually hail associated with a thunderstorm also, but usually in a small area. And some people do consider it to be a turn on. There was a lady who posted a question about that a few years back because she noticed that about herself.

There was a nice thunderstorm last night in my area. I find it cool. I like sleeping to the sound of rain but loud thunder can be annoying when trying to sleep. I'm a light sleeper. Quiet sounds easily wake me up. But thunderstorms in general are cool to watch.

A lot depends on where I am during the thunderstorm. Changing a tire on the side of the road under the light of a flashlight, not that enjoyable. Inside the house next to a fire with a warm spiked hot choco in my hands while watching the raindrops against the window, much more enjoyable.

Thunderstorms are sexy to me & as long as you or your home doesn’t get hit by lightning life is good. I love the power & the way lightning dances across the sky & like me it’s mysterious.

It's like nature's orchestra.

And I bought a house on high ground with sandy soil so there's no flooding (but my foundation accounted for the sandy soil and we're solid).
