I love rain and it tends to make me feel cheerful whether it's a violent storm or just a light shower. My favorite is when it pours in very tropical climates like Singapore:
Then it's so warm outside that we don't get cold even if we don't bother with an umbrella (which I usually don't).
I always had some deep affinity with rain, like an image that stuck with me vividly even as a little boy when my father was carrying me on his shoulders was the shimmering reflection of light across puddles in the night.
And in the day, it always seemed to make the greens of foliage more pronounced when it's rainy or foggy with more moisture in the atmosphere.
I didn't like the new Batman movie that much (found it a bit difficult to relate to the characters) but I thought it was so visually spectacular with all the rain:

As for me I think I like when it rains especially on those lazy days where you just want to sleep in or on those days where I just finished cutting the grass. I don’t like when it rains on my days off & I don’t like when it rains when I’m at the beach.
I like rain but not too much rain where it floods & although I have been through eight hurricanes & so many tropical storms I don’t that kind of rain.
Hurricane. Yuck!

I enjoyed splashing in the puddles on the road... I had some of my best athletic days in the rain. The rain is renewing, energizing. As long as have a warm dry place to go after.

  I live beside a river, it is 30 ft down to normal level, we had 2 feet of water in our home, thankfully no current
