When is the latest day I get a letter back if I send a letter from Sacramento, CA to San Francisco, CA?

I sent a letter to a close friend whose in treatment rn, on Wednesday last week haven’t received anything back it’s now Monday but I’m wondering when is it the latest the letter could come?

Less than 14 days. We have a 14 day policy... the day of it getting it sent to the day it gets received with enough time to get a response back... regardless of any holidays etc. This applies to every state within the US.
