I never know what to talk to people about over text.
Any topics to start a convo?

Maybe it’s just age, but I’m not big on the whole “dry texting” thing, because I’d rather my conversations with someone aren’t being carried through text to the extent that it can seem boring. For me, texting is just checking in, maybe sending funny videos or memes, but not for lengthy discussions. My main exceptions for this are if you’re in a LDR relationship, or you’ve met someone online and getting to know them. But in either of these cases, I believe the conversation should flow naturally with the right person, and not one of you fishing for topics to keeps the chat alive. Once things get boring or quiet, I’d rather stop texting until I feel a worthwhile topic comes up.

You know starting a convo can be simple. But it’s being willing to be vulnerable and share from deep within us that’s challenging. Do you have good talks with friends?

Talk about anything, anything is better than nothing and being dry can sometimes give mixed messages if theirs no clarification
