Dry texting? What should I do?

So me and my ex have been talking for a while even though we broke up last year. We have good conversations on the phone but through text it's horrible. When I tell him about it he says " I don't like to text fr " . What should I do? How do I make the conversation better?

Don't text him then.

It's very difficult to derive much meaning from simple text.

There's been a lot of girls that have been upset with me or something because they misunderstood what I meant in a text. It always left me very confused until I realized it was just because I wasn't around them and they were mistaking my meaning.

You can't change a dry texter, they just text dry because that's just how they are. I say if it bothers you so much, just don't text him, only talk to him otp or in person, or just don't talk to him at all.

Do nothing. It's never a good idea to get involved with an ex. I don't understand what are you trying to achieve.

Sadly you can't I even suggested my ex girlfriend to do something about it so many times but that never happened either. :/
