How do you respond to dry texter?

A few days ago, I finally had to the courage to follow my crush, I DM him and he replied, we started to talk, but I am doing the talking, I seriously don't know how to keep the conversation going? He dry text, takes hours to reply. Does that mean that he isn't interested?

It means like most guys, he views texting, dming, messaging, etc with about as much interest as a kick to the nuts.

It will be good idea if you know his interests. He likes movies? Ask him to recommend one. More into music? Suggest him you favourite song. But don't obliege him to answer you. Just give him his time.
