A lot of guys just aren't good at texting - it's hard enough to read a female's mood when you can read her face and body language, but emojis just don't cut it, and what if she's sending us inaccurate emojis and we're responding all wrong. It's just too much noise, and a lot of guys hate using the phone as a replacement for conversation.
So yeah, we would text you good morning beautiful with some sunshine and flowers to let you know that we are thinking of you, but that should set your day.. we don't need to continue the conversation, and we'd rather wait to see you in person and enjoy you in real life. Virtual socializing sucks, especially nowadays.
So when we do see you in real life, please consider that nothing is more annoying than a girl who can't put her damn phone down. Texting is good for short communication, not conversations.

@WinCx3d Don't you HATE the one-word replies, when you are liking someone, and wanting to just talk, through text, and it's like they don't care, with the single word shit?
Women do it to men, too!! Usually, it seems like she just isn't interested. . .
Usually actually talking instead of texting is wayyyy better in that case, however if he's just a dry person all around that could be a very awkward phone call

The whole texting thing is a giant fail. You get no emotion, zero body language, so you're missing out on at least half of what's being communicated. Which leads to confusion and misunderstanding, and then silly questions like this.
YOU CANNOT FORGE A RELATIONSHIP BY TEXTING. So use it to arrange your next meetup in real life (IRL). Dating needs to be done in person, not virtually. He's just not a texter/talker, most guys aren't. I usually respond succinctly, with an ok, or an alright. It really depends on the text that was sent to me, but most message only require a one or two word answer.
What about how he acts in person.
... ya know, the time together that actually matters?
For you to declare he isn't interested because of TEXT BEHAVIOR is foolish and short sighted. That's how MOST women in general text. Usually, it means they aren't really interested in you and are just being polite. That, or they suck at basic communication.
Texting isn't real communication. Let him know that and ask him to call you, then you can decide if he's interested or not.
He could just hate texting, maybe you have to see him in person or just leave whatever you want to do
Not all guys are great texters. I am not. I don't really like to text save for a brief exchange. I wouldn't worry about it. It means he a man who lives in the moment. You cannot derive anything just based on texting.
Text is a very poor substitute for REAL conversation , many people , men especially , hate texting & use it only for quick questions & giving brief info and that's it , I'm the same. Face to face conversation is by far the best.
Lmao, some people are horrible at texting. They usually call me lol
Honestly... a lot of guys aren't into texting... my boyfriend does it all the time, and I definitely wouldn't say he isn't interested in me😂
Some people are better on a phone or video call then over text. Try calling him and see what happens.
Stop texting and start calling. Talk to him. Text isn't communication.
Maybe he is busy, or doesn't know how to respond to some messages.
Guys suck at texting. It’s just a fact 🤷♂️. Call him instead 📞.
A lot of people hate to text. I still use a flip phone and if I sand an occasional text it is usually as brief as I can make it.
Some people just don't know how to make good sentence
Maybe you need to talk to him on phone, some people are horrible texters
He is not interested, or he would add much more to the conversation. You need to move on.
I wouldn't talk to dry texters who only want to flirt
Either way, he's not putting any effort in. Kind of rude if ask me.
