Why are guys such dry texters?

There is this guy I’m texting who engages in the conversation often, replies fast but he has such dry responses 😪 every guy I talk to always texts dry, I guess I can’t complain too much though since it boosts my conversation skills but like.. why?

Personally I get left on read Everytime I even try to sound interesting.
Problem is its like walking a minefield you just take a step and hope it doesn't blow in your face but it often does.
Eventually we decided to keep it dry and safe at least there's a lower chance of an immediate cut off while we wait for an opening to make a move.

Yeah, sometimes he starts it but he doesn’t really know how so I have to pick it up for him. He mentioned he is awkward and sometimes can’t find the word to say but it would help if he yk said more than what he says.

I think it's just the fact that men's are less talkactive than women. I feIel that men's don't talk to much about various topics as women do. Also have you seen men's speaking about a drama, break ups or even about their crush? We are more competitive and we make our own decisions based on facts and actions. Also we are dry texters because we are speaking straight forward thinking logically and having some arguments to back up our statement. Women tends to be more emotional and trying to move emotionally a guy which their speaking too. I hope you have understand my point of view. ,😃

Honestly I think guys are just simpler than girls in conversation. A lot of dudes aren’t into the social implications of what they’re saying, they just here a question and give an answer. I think girls here a question, give an answer, and then are more likely/better at giving an interesting counter question where a guy may see no need. For whatever reason, that’s what I’ve noticed. Girls are just more naturally social

Yeah I guess some guys are like that... I've texted a few that give short and kinda dry responses it makes it hard to have a conversation over text... some guys like texting others don't. I've had a few relationships too and my 1st ex loved texting me. We could have texted for hours and hours and we did almost every night. About anything and everything. Deep conversations and it was amazing having that with him but then my second ex wasn't too much of a texted he was like average not too into it and not too out of it. And then this other guy was just all short responses and shit like dry asf but wanted to go out with me lol... I guess it depends on the guy
