I wanna talk to my crush but he's a boring texter?

We haven't talked in a while because I never know what to talk about or what to say because he's a dry texter now. When we first started talking it want this boring. What should or can I do to break the ice and not make the conversation so boring and awkward? He waves and smiles at me at school everytime he sees me and he comes to my fourth period and lunch sometime.

What he needs is just a small push to open up a bit more and to Fan himself Out with something special you may have on your end in Opening Him up. Initiate some open lines of communication about asking him things about himself, what his interests are and in no time, this should brighten the atmosphere and shed More light on the subject where you just may have him eating out of your hand.

Find common interests that you both like. What do you usually text him about? Ask him about how his day was, what goals does he have, events that he's going to, his friends, his favorite tv shows

Nothing really. He likes to cook and he plays football but that's pretty much all I know about him. Plus I recently found out he has a girlfriend so now I'm pretty reluctant to talk to him.

Try talking in person, you know in the flesh face to face. Texting is impersonal so you can't blame a dude for being detached from you and the conversation.

I've tried talking to him face to face too but then I freeze up and don't know what to say.

Oh well, if you're ever going to date him you're going to have to learn to spend time with him and talk to him face to face. Personally I don't like to text or talk on the phone. The conversations over text/email/social networks are always shallow, pointless, and boring to me. Without face to face report anytime I open up about myself, then girls think I'm bragging... So it's a lose lose. Face to face I'm pretty damn interesting though.

A lot of guys probably feel similarly. Texting is something we do with our girl friends, but it's not something we personally want to do.
