How do I reach a guy that doesn't text with me that much?

So, I noticed him and I have very similar interests and everything so j texted him first, we texted a bit and it was just friendly talk until I asked him if he wants to be together. He said he doesn't want long distance but he also doesn't want to lose contact with me, so, I want to text him again and maybe get a better connection since we're both losers lol and I also don't have anything to lose, what do I do? Do I just send him a funny video to start a convo? (also we haven't texted since the 23rd of May)

So, your last text is almost a month ago?

You seem to be interested in him since you do most of the initiating texting and he just replies to you. That would mean that he is not really interested in you to be anything else than just a friend or acquaintance.

If he did not text you since late May and did not take the initiative to make a move, you can forget about him.

Since you have nothing to lose, you can send him a video or a meme but don't expect that it will change much. If he felt that he was ok without being in contact with you, then I believe you should move on and try your luck with someone that knows how to appreciate you. Good luck.
