So like there’s this guy i actually never really hung out with him because i live in germany right now and he is in croatia, i met him because of my friend im Croatia, she texted him and said that i think he is cute or whatever so he asked for insta. Then we started texting and like 4 days ago we stayed up till 4am while everyone was sleeping and it was all cute he was so nice and flirting and everything he even said “are we flirting or am i just imagining stuff” thennn i found out that he likes my friend who gave him my insta and i thought that that he was texting me only cuz i am friends with her, BUT i got back in germany and he is still in croatia and he said that he doesn’t have contact with her because it’s waisted time cuz she doesn’t like him. He is still texting me, well not like before but he is. And he always says that I’m cute, great girl, cool and always asks me how i am and what I’m doing, like I don't know is he texting me only when he is bored or what? I need help cuz i don’t wanna fall in love then be sad…

There are 2 things that ring my alarm bells in your text.

1. Yes, he is calling you when he is bored and

2. Yes, he is flirting with you.

Now, you are under 18 and that leads me to believe that you are around 14-15 and that you have a crush on this guy. At this age, those crushes will go away as quickly as they came.

He is testing you to see how far he can go with you. The next thing on his agenda will be to ask you for some nudes. If you are clever, you will refuse and cut this liaison short. Those nudes will invariably find themselves on the internet and lost for ever. Once he has had enough of you, he will post them on some revenge porn site or show them to his friends and buddies. Is that really what you want?

Be wise and forget about this boy. He will only bring you heartaches and problems.

Yeah we are both croatian, but i don’t think he would ask for nudes because he’s been texting with many girls and i never heard that he asked someone for nudes. But i agree with you thank you, i will be smart.

I have been. in a similar situation with a guy that I got to know online through one of my friends. We go to different schools but live pretty close to each other. We have only met in person like twice so mainly we j text and snap each other a lot. if he said that he used to like your friend then just remeber that u are his second choice... and if he isn't texting you when he's not bored or during the dayime then thats a red flag. obviously people get busy and stuff but if he only texts you late at night ir when he's bored then ur j a way to get over the boredom, he deosnt actually want to text you. try to limit how much you text him and slowly cut off the relatiosnhip.

The most important part of your message to me is you're in different countries. I understand you met him personally but it doesn't change my opinion. Especially with you not being an adult it is unlikely both of you have the maturity to make a relationship past the crush phase. My advice is to let the thoughts go regarding a crush.
