I have this guy friend who I got closer to recently. We started talking more/hanging out more etc and even went to see a movie together. A lot of our friends thought we were into each other but nothing else happened.
In person, he’s very engaged in our conversations and isn’t dry at all, but over text…he’s got to be the worst texter i’ve ever met. He’s very dry and now he barely replies at all. The strange thing is, I know that he reads everything I send.
In the past for example, I’ve sent him theories about one of our favourite shows and he didn’t respond to it at all. But the next time i saw him, he brought it up in conversation. This has happened a couple of times.
My friends all think it’s a little strange that he’ll read it and just not reply, especially since he’s not that dry in person. Any possible explanations? I can’t tell if I’m annoying him now since he’s so hot and cold, but I figured I’d just stop texting him because of the lack of response.
