Probably from 17 to 25 or 6 I used to go to the clubs almost every other weekend every weekend stay up all night go to the lake go camping go to Lake Tahoe the weekends were packed gym but yes I absolutely love the clubs because I love to dance I love the music and it was just so fun back then is unreal I feel sorry for people nowadays because they can't experience that without being roofied or something fucked up and that's just stupid it sucks but I used to go with like 6 to 12 of my friends we would all meet down there but one Club are the other and it was a blast

I went once in college and I did not enjoy it. It's not my thing. In hindsight I don't know what I was thinking going in the first place.

It was a friend of a friend's birthday; my friend actually canceled last minute; I don't drink; I don't know how to dance, or do my hair or makeup; and my now-husband and I had been dating a year and a half at that point and he wasn't there. 😂 I literally just sat at a table drinking water, watching everyone's coats/bags, thinking it was too loud, and praying they'd want to go home soon lmfao

I used to, but I wouldn't go today. Times have changed. In the early '00's we'd stay at the bar/club until closing and not be worried that someone was going to steal the car or a junkie gonna rob u or a drunk driving so crazy he flies off the expressway! It really sucks that you can't go out w/ur friends and have some fun, but at the same time, there's more productive things to do I guess? But one thing, never let someone say you're not "cool" just b/c you're not going out doing that stuff. It's cooler to be safe.

I'm not into that, either. Spend a small fortune to go an overcrowded place and be blasted with music I can't clearly hear, and have conversations that consist primarily of shouting "WHAT?" (sure, it's a chance to practice ASL, but most people don't KNOW that), and many of them have drink minimums, so I not only have to plan how to get home, but add new elements into how to get there?

Not as much anymore, only been twice in the last few months... I don't go to pick up or get hit on, I go to dance and get drinks. Socialize and have fun with my friends, no other reason.

When I do go, its usually like 10 or 11 pm to 2 am.

I do sometimes. But I like afternoon events in beach bars more than clubbing in the dark. You can see around you, you have more energy, everybody is wearing swimsuits or more casual to good clothing. It's just soo much nicer. Clubs tell you be there at midnight but the fun starts at 1 till everyone gets warmer up and cozzy and I'm not a drinker I just wanna dance. You have more space too in beach bars.

But my friends have gone. They feel more exhausted than having had fun in the club.

i don't. it seems more for people who have different values than I do, and probably the same for you. It's different if you have friends with the same set of values that you have, that wanna go with you though. Makes it easier to keep each other "on the right track".
