I'm currently in the US, Montana, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how cool it is here. They told me it won't last because there'll be some rain and then a heat wave in the next days, but for now it's a really cool night and I can't stop going out to see the view lol.

We've had a temporary reprieve but it's going up again and will be a week of hell. After a day or two, the temp inside climbs up and won't come back down. We are notorious for not having central A/C here. There is a formula for days per year of heat over a certain temp and if developers don't have to put it in, they don't. Unless of course they are building for the luxury rich market.

I hate heat. Never liked it. Give me any other season besides summer. I like to be clean all the time, and these days become 3 shower days sometimes and I can't even count how many times I wash my hands. It was way too hot in California for me, but at least you can go from an air-conditioned home, to air-conditioned car, to air-conditioned office/business.

@AmandaYVR I am taking more than one shower per day as well. I have Air Conditioning, but I don't use it because I don't want my electric bill to go way up.

Yeah electricity's expensive in a lot of places but being comfortable is well worth it to me. When heat goes on for too many days and is really intense, it feels like you're rotting inside.

@exitseven That's great. I read that it only costs ~ $3000 here for an average home. That was shockingly low. Well worth it, I think.

Yes I see quite a few houses on my street have got them. I had a master bedroom suite built 12 years ago and I had central air installed while it was being built. At least we sleep good on hot nights. I would like to get my whole house done.

@exitseven Oh good idea, getting that done first. I haven't heard of that but it makes sense. Top priority. Without sleep we'll never be right.

Here is extremely hot. At 8.00 am there’s almost 30C and becomes hotter during the day. It reaches almost 37-38C during hottest hours. During the day it’s dry so it’s only high temperature, but during the night comes a lot of humidity and it becomes difficult to sleep.

Over 90 degrees. I was feeling it full force for a few weeks because of power issues at the worst possible time. Now I'm staying at a relatives house to avoid it until they can fix the issue & turn the electricity back on.

I live in BC so it's extra cool here but sometimes we have heatwaves. Today it seems pretty nice and cool.

It's not hot at this moment. It was cloudy and windy in the morning, then it got hot in the afternoon and now it's a little bit cold.
