I’m definitely NOT loser! Ell oh ell! That’s not true, i’ve lost. And as god-man Peter Quill points out, that makes me a loser. I win, from time to time, small things. I pulled TWO $2 winners out of the $1+B mega millions drawings recently! Settle down, ladies, i already spent it. Nevertheless, winning is FUN! Even when it’s small! So what have you won? Have you ever won anything? If so, what did you win?
I've won a handful of things over the years. I won a trophy in Cub Scouts for best-looking Pinewood Derby car. I've twice won a bar trivia contest and got free food. And 3 years ago I won a $500 set of speakers at a trade show for knowing music trivia.
I've also been on winning "teams" - my under-16 soccer team won our league championship one year, and my high school Marching Band and Jazz Band each won a number of trophies and awards during my time there, and my college Jazz Band also won a few. Obviously these weren't individual achievements, but neither is a Super Bowl ring, so it has to count for something... LOL.
I used to race snowmobiles and won quite a few races, did motocross and won a few, water-skiing tournaments won a few events, car shows and bike shows won some awards, and have won some awards at the firehouse.
Firefighter of the year for the county, fire officer of the year, came in 2nd in Firefighter of the year state wide.
Plenty of card games, beer pong, and the one and only game of Magic the gathering I’ve ever played 😂 I never win anything competition, auction or raffle wise. But I’m good with games.
I got a tech job. Part of my compensation was in stock. The stock is worth ten times what it was when they awarded it. I consider that a win, as it's just dumb luck that I was in the right place at the right time.
Hand mixer - three consecutive times at same company event. Home bar - sweepstakes win that - since don't want a bar in my house - converted to a pay-out. Car - sweepstakes win that I got in the divorce (which in a way was another win bc she's a nut case)
Excluding anything competitive... Talking about actions, raffles, giveaways, etc... My local dispensary had a raffle for a bong on their Instagram account (like/share/tag to enter). Only thing I've ever won. 🤣
