Are female dogs (of any breed) easier to train than males?

Lets say someone gets a dog that requires more socialization and training than your typical Collie or Golden Retriever. They are bull mastiffs, GSDs, APBTs, Cane Corsos, Rotts, etc.

I'm guessing just like differences in genders with humans, there must probably be difference between female and male dogs. Do you think a female dog (of any breed) easier to train than males?

I’ve been training working dogs for various jobs since the 90’s. It very much depends on the breed.

“Bitch” doesn’t cover all female dogs.

Yes it’s true for German Shepherds for example but male Dobermans are much more temperamental/bitchie emotionally then female.

If you want to know specifics contact actual professional breeders of a breed. Ones who show/work and title their dogs. Not just produces puppies.

The only dog I've ever owned was female. I'm not sure if she was just smarter than me or if I suck at training dogs, but she had me trained better than the other way around. Girl wouldn't do shit I said unless I had a treat in my hand.
