Yes it happened. I was run down by a car& charged with failure to yield the right of way. I had to go to court because of my age. I was only 15 at the time. The judge gave me till July to pay the fine. a few weeks later a cop shows up with an arrest warrant for my unpaid ticket. Apparently the paperwork was never put in at the courthouse. I was arrested booked into jail paid the fine & went home.
