Sticking up for myself. Growing up in a bad neighborhood, I was extremely hostile. Had to be. But with narcissistic parents, towards anyone with ANY kind of authority, I was 100% passive. You’re right, that blue sky I’m looking at with my own two eyes IS green. Like that kind of passive. That submission built up serious resentment and inner anger, fucking me up mentally. Caused a huge decay in my self esteem, but now? I’m very highly confrontational but I am respectful. And when I put assholes in their place, I feel great.
