  only when we play around, and I do risk getting my hands or arms on their way... then they claw in, lol
  
  and the I just don't pull back so I don't end up with a big scratch
  
  when they were two month old kittens though... they just loved to climb up my legs all the time so I had a few scratches back then, lol

  My cat doesn’t scratch me on purpose as a means of defense but he gives the dogs a hell of a time. He likes tackling and wrestling with my mini schnauzer, I also put him on my shoulders which I’ve been doing since I first got him at a month and a half -2 months old. He claws my back getting down cuz he likes to use my back as a spring of sorts. I do it so he can get on his cat tree (it’s almost 7 feet tall and I’m 5’1) if I’m holding him it’s not as often now (he responds fast when I call his name) unless I want to get him down and hold him. I still can’t give his shedding self a bath tho unfortunately. The first one I gave him he scratched me up. That was 2 years ago now
