In your lap?
Do you think you are going to become a multi millionaire one day?
In your lap?
Weell... it's go for said dream or be like my mom, father, brother, auntie, other auntie, the auntie with one child, aaaand anyone else in the family. Go to work, work under some mofo, come home, pay bills, repeat until retirement. I don't plan to go out that way, to be a rat with other rats and say "ah, this is the life." Nah, fk you. SOo i do have the dream of being a millionaire and keep it coming so i never had to work for some mofo who cuts my lunch short because i pooted in her vincinity.
I think its possible, I have an idea of what I'd want to do and if that brings me wealth, even better.
What career?
But a multi millionaire, that’s like well into the 1% how do most people think it’s possible?
Besides already failing at the most common opportunities of becoming a multimillionair, (being born in a rich family) i don't want to. What am i going to do with such a huge amount of wealth.
Even if i somehow manage to get rich, i would buy a house and donate everything to charity.
About 85% of American millionaires are self made.
Option E: Yes. I'll lie, cheat, and steal my way to the top. Aka, become a politician.

With this inflation rate? For sure.
When a bun costs a million and you want buy 10 buns you have to be multi-millionaire.
I remember when. People used the expression “dollars to doughnuts” for favorable odds. I’ve seen doughnuts in Waikiki for $4 each.
If inflation keeps racing at a high pace, everyone will have to be a multimillionaire just to buy a loaf of bread.
On paper already am, but it's almost all tied up in the house I inherited, the property tax for which is locked at 1970's level due to Prop 13 and generational skipping so don't you all be hitting me up for cash lol
In Hawaii, I know cash poor paper millionaires who struggle to pay their property taxes, or, as one acquaintance called it, renting his own house from the government. He said his taxes are more than his parents’ house payments in the 50’s!
@MikeInHawaii Yeah, I have friends on the Big Island. For me, if not for Prop 13 assessment limitations my property taxes alone would be about $80,000 per year.
Almost guaranteed. Home value + steady investing will get me there eventually.
@Prettygurl12
You're gonna be a beat cop millionaire? Like, taking under-the-table deals for Biden or someone, LOL!
@MCheetah being a millionaire at 65 requires saving $7 per day from the age of 18 and putting it in an index fund. A beat cop can be me a millionaire.
@mcheetah - lol nah. Just living within my means and investing regularly and wisely. Slow and steady wins the race.
@MikeInHawaii
$7 a day is a lot! God damn, I used to live off of $4 a day in food! If I were to do what you said, I'd need to have $46,000 saved by my 36th birthday. I don't even make that much in a year.
@Prettygurl12
"Slow and steady" doesn't account for Biden hyper-inflation.
Cops get nowhere in life. Like a cop maybe stable financially. But they’ll never be wealthy unless they strike gold somewhere which they won’t. Like people actually get into good professions and start businesses to become actual millionaires.
No. I like to spend too much for that to happen.
How would you even earn that much firstly do you think?
I suppose it is possible with a litle luck.. Of course a million dollars doesn't buy what it used to.
Yes I do my drive is money and i want to get deeper in real estate and flip more properties I want to be the top name Southern California for real estate investing.
Considering the record inflation levels and economic turmoil most places on earth are under, i certainly hope so. My parents are multi-millionaires. I am in the family business so i hope i take it to newer heights.
I’m in the same boat too. What type of business is it? Very wealthy family and I’ve joined the business
*too
Consulting and agriculture
You?
Dental
Absolutely. With Bidenflation, I might be using $10 million bills to buy McDoubles.
@MCheetah they were printing $100 trillion bank notes at one time.
It depends how many millions is "multi" to you and it depends how long I live. I've almost made my first million already. Warren Buffet made his first at 32.
No because I’m not actively chasing this goal
No, not my goal.
No, because I'm too dumb
@MCheetah you’re referring to the Dunning-Krueger Effect.
Yes. I’m well on my way.
I only seek greatness
Yes.
Im on my way
