Why does a woman being in her thirties and older such a turn off to the world?

So I see men dating young women all the time and those men don't want to settle down to or have kids. So I'm a woman who is 31 and don't want to settle down or have kids at all. So men my age or older wouldn't want to date me cause of my age or something? They would rather go for a girl who is 20?

It is called evolution. Men are most attracted to young fertile women because those men that were left more progeny than those that didn't have that preference.

Men who date young women might well not want to have children for economic reasons and the fact that you can easily end up with all of the costs and disadvantages but none of the advantages. That is simply a rational decision.

However the females they feel desire for are the same that dear old great great (great x 100) granddad fancied.

Its not personal. Anymore than it is personal that females prefer wealthy men with status and good genes. It is just part of the mating dance we all participate in.

From my point of view you aren't too old, you're too young. When I was 19 I might have thought 30 was oldish. But when I was 30 I thought 30 year old women were hot af. It's a matter of perspective. You should be able to find guys closer to your age.

Anyone who thinks a 31 year old is a turnoff doesn't know what they are missing.

What makes you think there is an universal answer including all men in that age bracket? Every trial and error or successfully made couple is its individual case. And if it does work out, it’s about having chemistry and in 95% not about having a certain age.

I'm in my 30s, and I'd date a woman who's in her 30s if she wanted to settle down, but not have kids, and she loves very challenging video games, and she is an artist, and she likes technology, science, sci-fi, and fantasy, and she is an atheist, and watches anime/cartoons, and she likes dinosaurs and isn't afraid of snakes, spiders, bugs, etc. and she was physically attractive to me.

One of the online themes is that given the choice a man is better if with a younger woman for a number of reasons, one being that younger women have more time and are more relaxed about life. It's a generalisation and whether or not this is true or not in real life, I could not say.

Many women in their 30s are seen to be either resentful through past failed relationships or on the baby train and looking to settle which is fine as long as men is like minded.
