Why are people on here so mean?

Especially in the dating categories I had to block and report at least 4 or 5 people they called me mean names and said hurtful things about my girlfriend. People are so heartless and hateful on here I thought Reddit was bad. Why are there so many mean people on here?

because they get some sort of ha ha's from hurting others seeing is there is no real repercussions for their pathetic actions. they use that to distract from their own shitty life by projecting it onto others.

I don't let people bother me if they don't like me and are mean well that is life I was bullied in school and had to swallow it all part of life. I was bullied online but not G@G hey sir it happens not much we can do.
