Why are people so mean?

I’m trying to trust again and assume people are not actually lying.
But yet if I speak up or reach for clarification, people snap and laugh and say the world sucks and people are mean etc etc.
•Why do we all want to trust but we all refuse to show others they should trust?
It’s a constant silent war with zero end in sight.
•Is division between people inevitable?
•Are we not supposed to be social?
•At what point do I believe people if they are so proud to be so mean?

1. Some people are just a-holes.

2. Some people are good people but have been pushed to the point that they knows there's no reward to showing vulnerability.

I'm here always to help who I can, male or female. But a lot of women on this site are just angry bitter people who only want you to open up so they can tear you down. This is why I only post anonymously when it's of a personal nature. And I'll very rarely share of myself. There's simply nothing worthwhile to doing it. Most women who post anonymous questions are just traps.

I thought maybe nice people are quiet about it and keep it to theirselves but they get exhausted being around such miserable people.
Vulnerability is healthy. But the hook up trends and behaviors are just disgraceful. I’m anon so I don’t get bombarded with random inbox messages.

Its Human Nature. You learn to engage it and defend against it. Surround yourself with trustworthy people and cut them off if they betray you.

I’m trying to surround myself with trustworthy people but they lash out and are irrational and u predictable & they proud of it.

I approach things kindly and openly but people are so harsh. At what point do we get to genuinely be nice to one another if folks are prancing around so proud to be mean?
