What would you make of someone who drives around an empty school parking lot over and over at night?

I’m a custodian at a school and was sitting in my car on break, it was past 9 and everyone else, who had been there for a fb game, was gone other than my two coworkers and I. There was a car that came from the back of the school where the field is. They drove around the parking lot, then left. I then saw that same car repeat this 3 or 4 more times. They would go to the the back for about 3 minutes then leave again, go back to the road and about two minutes later, they’d be making their way back. I think they’ve left now, I haven’t seen them again. I looked out back and there’s no one else. I don’t know what to think.

Probably a teenager learning how to drive.


My driving i structor made me pull in and out of an empty parking lot several times until I was able to do it perfect.


He said “we’re doing this now because there are no cars here. In a real situation, messing this up would mean you cause an accident.”

At a school, that would be a time when the parking lot is not full of cars to bump into.

My driving instructor used a strip-club parking lot because the lot was pretty big and always empty before night. Lol

A school parking lot is probably a better choice for a parent who is teaching their kid though.

If it continues and you think it’s not something so innocent, alert police of your suspicions.

Probably (I have seen this countless times) a parent/other and their kid = Teaching to drive.
