Do you like the Suzuki Kizashi?

I think it is likely that there are better options.
If you are going to get one you should get a 2013 onwards as there have been some recalls / problems prior (every manufacturer has recalls and problems).
It has 4WD which is interesting but if you aren't going to make use of the 4WD then having just means you are going to go through your tyres faster and use more fuel.
The numbers aren't great, it only seems to be producing 179bhp from 2.4 litres, though Americans can only dream of such figures, it's not really ok from something European or Japanese.
That is more engine that you need for a vehicle of this type so you are paying a lot at the pump but you aren't enjoy the prestige that would normally come with those costs.
It is probably still better than anything American with the exception of Ford.
You should try to choose a vehicle which was designed to do what you are going to use it for.
Thanks. I have been looking for priuses, civics, accords. . . But these suzukis are a very reasonable price compared to the rest
Well that is probably because those other cars cost less to run.
In the UK and Europe the most popular sort of car is what we call a 5 door hatchback, so 4 passenger doors and a trunk which is integrated into the passenger compartment and has a large 'hatch' (the 5th 'door').
The reason they are popular is because they are a jack of all trades, whatever you want to do, with the exception of specialist applications like offroading etc you can do with a car like this.
Get one with a 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine and you will get good fuel economy, probably something like 50mpg +/- 5, insurance costs should be fairly low and you will get a well made vehicle which will last a long time with reasonable equipment.
As a young person though insurance may well dictate what you have to have, in the UK it is certainly extremely common to start out with a small town car / a 3 door hatchback so you may find you have to have something like this to begin with but if things are different in the States with the insurnace and you can start with a 'real car' (the 5 door hatchbacks are much better quality than the 3 door and will last much longer as well as being signifcantly more capable (though some small cars can be quite nimble and fun to drive)).
If you know that you do not need much luggage space then you might be able to get something like a small sports car, a 2+2 (2 real seats and 2 child type seats in the back) which would be significantly more fun to own and drive.
I like the look of the Volvo C30s myself, something like that might suit or as you have already been looking at a Civic.
If you were older and had more experience and a sports type car was suitable for your needs you might be able to get something like a Mercedes SLK or BMW Z4.
Mazda MX5s are famous for being very good, affordable small sports cars.
Ford are also good, a Focus or Mondeo (if you wanted a full size car)
VW Golfs are popular but they very expensive and I wouldn't want to spend that much on just a 5 door hatch, at that point you might as well get a BMW.
French cars tend to have softer suspension which gives a less sporty but more comfortable ride.
The French and Italians are the ones who tend to make more of the fun town cars, Peugeot 205 back in the day and these days Fiat 500 Abarths are probably the top dog for that sort of car.
I drive a Ford fusion now (not in my name) and it is a good basic starter car. However. . . I still don't quite trust Ford. Same with German cars plus expensive repairs
I'm just picky! ! !
I also don't want a coupe because I don't trust myself to put groceries in the trunk!
No. But I'll get one just to spite @Subarugirl. I'll tell her boss she made me buy the competition instead and that she said "only tall men are worthy of Subarus."

Your obsession with height is kind of weird bro. Also Suzuki doesn't even sell cars in the US anymore so it's not really competition...
@Subarugirl
What real woman says "bro?" Also, they still sell Suzukis used. I was *this* close to buying a perfect brand new sh*tbox like an Impreza. I heard they were made for people like me.

But now, you've forced me to go for a Suzuki Swift or a Suzuki Sigma (Male) with your rude comments. Consider this sale of your horrible Suzuki Impreza null and void!
Weird... well Im glad they won't have to deal with a Karen like you, so thanks for doing us a favor bro. If you do go with the suzuki you'll basically have the same car as my husband.
It’s probably a good, basic car. If you’re in the US or Canada, you won’t get one beyond the 2013 model year as Suzuki stopped selling cars here that year.

Suzuki stopped selling cars in the US about 10 years ago. The Kizashi had just come out about a year or two earlier. My wife liked it and we considered it (we had a Chevy Tracker at the time and that's really a Suzuki car). However, we needed more cargo room once we realized we were going to move out of state.
Nope. Not much fan of anything Suzuki makes for US Market. Though I would buy something from Suzuki when I am in India. Let it be Wagon R or, Van or similar. Something with more leg head shoulder elbow room for a tall person
Every car made by japs is a death trap why do you think their suicide rate is so high
“they bring great honor getting ass scraped off the road “
No. I only buy American made vehicles. I mostly drive SUVs or pickup trucks.
It’s ok but they don’t ship them here anymore so parts might be hard to get
I looks like a nice " chick car" ..😁
I didn't know Suzuki cars were still a thing.
I kinda like it because of its red colour.
not my style but its nice
Not for me, I'm more of a truck guy.
What kind of truck
Yes, It's a very pretty car for sure.
Never heard anything good about Suzukis
No I like American muscle cars
What anime is she from? AAAAAAHO
I like David Suzuki!😂
I knew him
Looks small.
It's a midsize sedan
Not bad
Another shitbox car
@abc3643 I drove enough cars in my day to know what's good and what isn't. Anything less then a 6 cylinder 258 horsepower is junk
@MCheetah oh sorry my bad
