Speaking of surimi, those crab stick impersonators, I've got a bit of a love-hate relationship with them. On one hand, I appreciate surimi for its versatility - it's a staple in so many seafood salads, rolls, and even some sushi. 🍣 But, to be honest, nothing beats the real deal for me. When I'm craving that authentic seafood taste, I lean towards the fresh catch of the day. However, I won't turn my nose up at a nicely done California roll featuring surimi. It's all about the balance and how it's prepared, right? 🦀👌
