Naturists/nudists, did you stop visiting the community you grew up with?

It seems like most the friends I grew up with from our naturist community disconnected the moment they moved out of their parents home. I'm still in touch and they're still naturist but they don't come to the picnics and events any more. I see their parents and get bummed out when I realize they're alone. What was it like for other people? How do I stop feeling sad about this?

I did. My family got too busy when I was a teenager. We had activities, school, first jobs. I think my freshman year of high school we managed to go once. A few years ago my parents decided to visit the club we belonged to again for a week. I stopped by for a night, and I had the same experience as you. There was absolutely no one even close to me in age. I've kept in touch with a few friends I had from the club, and none of them still go. Quite a few still participate in nude recreation, just not at clubs.

In my case parents are dead, only one beach remains nudist. I still live at home as a full-time nudist and enjoy it very much!

I didn't grow up in a naturist colony but I've had a few "naturist vacations".

Indoor events. Some of ours we still called picnics but they were more like potlucks.
