Have you ever ran into an old teacher? If so when was the last time you did?

I ran into one of my favorite high school teachers today at the grocery store and I honestly was surprised she remembered me.

Yes. A few times. When going to a family-friends-daughter elementary school graduation. Turns out my 2-3rd grade teacher (who was never there, we always had subs because she was off trying to become principle) was in fact the principle there. I was in my early twenties and she remembered me. She looked embarrassed when I said she finally had her dream job. I said it kindly but I guess it hit our connection.

I run into my 6th grade teacher from time to time. It's been over a year now since it has happened.

I ran into mt old homeroom teacher from high school. He got job at the college I was teaching at. He was completely bald and I kept looking at him and trying to remember who he was. When he was young he had an afro and we called him Mr Kotter. When I finally figured it out I told him I was in his homeroom. He remembered both me and my brother

I'm friends with a few and see them every couple of years when I visit my home town. We also email occasionally.
