A great guy with an education and good income offered to marry him and have kids but I didn't want kids and so he dumped me and my family thinks I'm a failure for being 31 and single and no job..

Not graduating school (K-12) is an issue, more so for themselves as this would hinder them in supporting themselves sufficiently for their entire life. College or not wanting kids are non issues in comparison.

You don't need to go to college, but you can still graduate from high school. It will help you getting a job.

Also, you're not forced to have kids and even if you decide to be a mother you can always adopt.
