+1 yI sleep with a fan on. All the time. There are a few reasons I do. I like the background noise it provides. I also like to sleep with blankets on. Then, there is the climate I live in. While naturally used to it, I don't like to be too hot. We actually have a ceiling fan and a floor fan that I run at night.
I wouldn't suggest this for people like @bigpauly. He could be blown away with that much turbulence circulating in a room. Best for someone like that to use one of those old paddle type fans that don't generate a strong crosswind.
The noise from it is what I like the most. I am so used to it now that I almost can't sleep without it. When we go on holiday, I don't sleep nearly as well if we are at a hotel/resort because of how I like that noise.
I can't do the TV on for noise because the flashing of the light really bothers me. I tried those sound machines, but for some reason, the fan is just right.

That means 2 German Shepards, 3 bunnies, a cat and a fox. And at night they all get together and are one huge fluffy mess at the foot of the bed.)
