So! Let’s start:

Some researchers say in public, if you hear someone yawn, chances are you may yawn. Yawning can be contagious.

Yawning is even more likely to occur, if you hear someone (you are interested in romantically) yawn because you’d be mimicking them, as well as feeling the effects of hearing a yawn.

Yawning can also happen, when you look at someone 👁 and just see them yawn.

What triggers this? I’m not so sure, but I am curious about this…

It’s called the power of suggestion. I first heard about it on Newton’s Apple back in the 80’s.

it’s just like if you see someone eating a lemon - unless you like lemons you would probably have a sour pucker on your face. Or if you see someone eating popcorn or a burger - looks so delicious you want some. Power of suggestion. 👍🙂

I didn't yawn, but that's because I fell asleep in front of the TV before I answered this Q.

Interesting factoid, yawning is your body's attempt to oxygenate your blood. When oxygen content in the air drops like at high altitudes, you will yawn in an attempt to restore the oxygen balance.

Some say a smile is always followed by a smile & when it comes to a yawning a yawn is usually followed by another yawn & mysterious it is as well. As for a yawn what you think might be causing it might not be what you think or it could be something else. Some say yawning is contagious & if one person yawns another person yawns & so on. As for me I read a paper from the University Of Pennsylvania back in the day & it made me think a little. As for the yawning experiment eight people were brought into a room where each as well as everyone had their own divided section where the people couldn’t see or hear each other. In the course of an hour one person started yawning & than another & so on & at one point everyone in the room yawned multiple times. It makes you think why did everyone start yawning if no one had contact with anyone else? Temperature in this case was the answer. As for the room temperature the researchers kept turning the temperature up & turning it down & as the temperature went up more people started yawning. Like a dog panting to cool off it’s possible when we yawn we are actually taking air in to cool off.

I had the urge to yawn as soon as I started reading this. It’s a thing. It can be so effective for the unprepared that if you think you’re being followed a technique is to yawn and look around to see who else yawns, that’s an indicator that that’s the person that has you under surveillance.
