House was flooded during hurricane Katerina. That was not the blessing. The blessing came from the lesson learned from it. That is, “you can not grab hold of anything new if you are still holding on to everything old.”

My younger daughter was going back to college in a car driven by a friend. There was an accident. The car did a couple of rolls. When the police were showed a photo of the smashed car, it looked as if there was no "greenhouse", the part with all the windows and windshield and roof. "Were their any survivors?" the police asked. My daughter got her neck twisted a bit, but that was about it.

I guess you could say every single suicide attempt I've ever taken (and I've fully committed to it each time) has been a miracle but I see each one as a curse upon me. Nothing good that's ever happened in my life is from a blessing or miracle but instead from hard work.
