When I feel awful I do make lists in my head of what is right, okay, not missing, not awful. But honestly, it doesn't work. I'm overwhelmed by the negative, quite often. I want the problem to go away or me be able to fix it, so badly. But it depends how bad the negative is, of course. It's a struggle, but I keep trying.

Absolutely. Stay positive. And let’s be honest, no matter what your current situation is, things can always get worse.

Many haven’t really experienced real adversity though…. we have a relatively easy life in comparison to the past….

I am the most thankful and grateful as well, when the times are the worst...

because that is when my closest people show up without even having to ask, so that's something, perhaps the most fortunate thing I've ever had

Yup. Things have gotten sooo much worse if they did... but they haven't it's only times when something happens but there's a solution later if I just have hope and patience. Aaand when I am, i somehow get rewarded in some way

That's definitely the time to be grateful, even though it may be more difficult to muster some gratefulness together.

I try to always be grateful that things aren't worse, that doesn't mean I don't feel bad when there is something that is causing me a struggle but I try not to dwell on it.

Yes and no. I am grateful but I stopped believing a lot of stupid superstitions

Superstitions like God will punish the bad people right here and now.
Or when they claim He will strike evil down. Again not here.
Or when they are say go to Mecca and all your sins will be cleared. No that's just another lie.
Or when they are saying that believers will have hell on Earth and heaven in hereafter. Look Non Muslims also face a lot of troubles.
Or then there is this cultural religion fascism saying Muslims are superior and Pakistani/South Asian Muslims judging Muslims from U. S or Europe or Turkey as less Muslims. This is plain stupid.
Or that time people would say Bloody Saudis and Bloody Iranians etc etc. They are making good things aside from there cultural issues.
Oh and Blasphemy laws are not from Quran neither them nor the penalty for fornication is stoning. None written over there in Quran.
And when people think of themselves superior being born Muslims. That's also weird.

And Agnostics are not atheists they believe in God too you know. They should be treated good too.

I've been through so much that when things get rough I remember the really bad times and I'm grateful for having come through them. I know I can survive whatever happens.
