I wrote a very vague anonymous love letter to my crush basically just telling him how amazing he was.


He read it out loud to me and our friends and kept making eye contact with me specifically.


When he finished, all of our friends said “oooooooh! Someone has a crush on youuuu!”


Fast forward a few hours, everyone else left and it was just me and my crush.


I turned to him and said “you didn’t have to read my note out loud like that you know…that was kind of awkward.”


The look on his face told me I fucked up…


He said “you wrote that?”


My blood went cold, I panicked and played the note off as innocent compliments that got taken out of context.


He said “thank you.”


Those words replay in my head like a Vietnam flashback.
