Instead of the normal "I ask a question and y'all respond", lets do something different. Ask me something random, and I will try my best to respond 😆

Does an imaginary number have any square roots?
An imaginary number is defined as the square root of a negative number.
In that sense you cannot square root any single imaginary number on its own due to the nature of į.
However, you can treat it like a function and represent it as such, eg. 2į = 1 + 2į - 1 = (1+į)^2. In this case, I treated it like a quadratic function , with the exception of not having į^2, as that is simply -1. As such, we end up with a perfect square root. So yes, imaginary numbers do have square roots.
Thanks for the detailed answer.
