Why do most people in the world seem to lack empathy about others?

They're only nice to you, if you're very young, pretty and/or have money and they have something to gain from you. If you aren't, you will get ignored, or be treated cruelly

People with empathy get treated poorly by others. For a long time, I volunteered at animal shelters and so far have saved and nursed so many sick, helpless animals. I have helped people in accidents who would otherwise die. During covid, I have made several apps, and websites to make correct information easily available worked with red cross, and much more.

Doing those aren't always easy you have to deal with so many rude people.

But the thing is my capacity for giving out love is over. I never had any love in my own life. I am not saying I am entitled to love as I do good work but as a human being you crave love for yourself too from another person. But I have been single my whole life, most women nowadays only wanna date bad boys. The cool guys who visit bars and pubs with flashy cars, and bikes. They would rather spend money on those than help people. My kind of guys are looked down upon and only seen as a settling material after their fun time and they are thirty. I am not saying these women have told this to me themselves. Nowadays I only spend my time focusing on my carrier and myself. Guys with empathy get terrible treatment in the dating market, everyone wants a strong masculine, don't give a fuck type of guy. Even scientific research supports this.

Expecting sincere empathy from others is misguidedly, especially if you have all things you listed in your question. It's even worse, people who have empathy for you turn it into something you don't want, if you don't give them what they want.

most people are nice... and not just to kids/hot people or rich people. if you're like ugly or poor sure people might be less nice at times but if your normal even random people will still help you out and feel bad for you, and will defnitiely not be a holes

Because if you aren't taught that growing up it is hard to develop. Not everyone has had the luxury to grow up in an environment that is conducive to that type of behavior.
