Do you think it's rude when someone comes up to you talking when they clearly see you on a phone call?

Kinda. I’m a server and sometimes I’ll have guests who sit on their phone the entire time they’re at the table.
I always feel rude to come take their order but that’s my job so what else am I supposed to do? 😭 shouldn’t be on the phone if you’re out to eat anyways
Is that even still a word? Yes I do believe it to be rude , that and an entire list of things that used to be common courtesy, if you do it to me in the work place, it better be to tell me my hairs on fire.
Yes, it is. They should know that you can't talk to them at the moment. It seems that they want to bother you.

When using the house or office phone, yes. Otherwise, you just have to put up with it when using your portable phone booth.
A few years ago, I was in a car with a friend of one that had one of those blue things embedded in his left ear. We're driving down the road, having a conversation and, suddenly, he starts saying shit that has nothing to do with what we're talking about. I'm wondering what the hell he's talking about and then it hits me, he's talking to whoever is in his ear! He never said a word to me about hang to take a call! He did this a few times during the 20:00 trip. THAT'S rude! Maybe THAT'S why his son killed all those basketball players!! He couldn't get his dad's undivided attention when he needed it!
AB-SO-LUTE-LY! I use the phone a LOT. MOSTLY for work, but sometimes for personal stuff. I DETEST being interrupted. It's RUDE! UNLESS it's a crisis; DO NOT interrupt me! Leave me a note if it's important!
I simply tune out and finish the phone call.
