Nope, but my server (it's a plex server as well as a domain controller a steam cache server and a file server.) runs 8 16 tb drives in raid for storage and a 1tb nvme ssd for the OS. virtually nothing is stored on any of the other computers in the house.
I still keep storage from old in pc just increase new then more and more
but speed is different 50MB/s to 1GB/s, I can not tell hardware in windows.
sometimes really feel slowly.

Only on my media server. I've currently got 48TB of storage, but I'll be doing some upgrades soon. Most of my other machines don't need all that much.
Yes. Which is why you should go for NVME rather than SATA if you want speed.
1TB? Pah I'm digging 13TB SAS drives here, bub.
Sorry I got around 8TB of data. I will NEVER go over 2TB of any digital drives HDD, SSD or NVME. I would like you and wish you luck installing a NVME on my 2011 thinkpad T420 with windows 7 installed โ๏ธ๐
