Not trying to pick at your memory files of the terrifying thing but mine was pulled up about how a boy had a bug... on his back... from his neck... to his ass. Comments below said their soul would leave their body. I agree. :)
So how about you?

A Palmetto bug damn near the size of my hand. Back when I lived in Texas, I noticed this large creature just chillin on the wall in the bathroom while taking a piss. So I decided the best option was to scoop this large fucker up and scare my girlfriend and her mom. Good times.
Not really that big. I guess maybe a Luna moth? I don’t kill insects as a rule, other than ticks or mosquitoes if they come after me. Everything else, I consider their life to be no less valuable than mine.
For me it was a locust and I've never been more scared. I definitely didn't kill it, but I wanted to lol
All bugs are a threat to me.
They all make me scream and beg for someone else to do the dirty work

I remember killing a cockroach in Guam that was about 3 inches long. And, yeah, it looked threatening enough that it needed to be disposed of!
hmmm, biggest bug? insect?
probably those big-ass grass hoppers, water roach things... or butterflies, need to kill them? NEVER ever...
and then there's tarantulas, which are not bugs per se, but still cool AF
What bug could be that big except during the Cretaceous period I never heard of that so I probably would try to, biggest I’ve seen is cicadas
I saw dinner plate wolf spiders in Okinawa…. I was mortified
If you mean an insect, probably a black beetle. It was like a decimetre long.
Spider bigger than a Kennedy half dollar.
Yes, it was a cockroach.
