How do you blow up a balloon?

Balloons are great, aren't they? Who knew imprisoning air could bring so much pleasure? But that air doesn't get in there by itself, it takes a lot of hard work to encourage it in.

Some people like to blow in it by mouth, others use a balloon pump. Many struggle with tying the knot and some fear it exploding in their face.

So what's your view on blowing up balloons?

First is to make the air your bitch. Then push it into the Ballon to imprison it. I blow it up by mouth so that way it knows it's me that's in control of it. Tying is easy. The air might realize what happened and start to fight to escape. Got to tie it quickly.

Stretch balloon. Hold approximately 1" from open end. Expel air from my lungs into balloon. Repeat till desired volume is achieved. Tie knot. Repeat. Twist into desired shape to make animal. This delights kids and impresses girls, who then want to have my children. Run away as fast as possible.

I knew a blond who wanted to help blow up balloons. But when she heard the word "blow", she got confused and started sucking. (that was a joke)

Mouth and lungs for the majority. However, my kids' recent birthday I had over 50 balloons to do. As I was just getting over a chest infection, I purchased a small balloon pump. It was pretty simple to use and saved me from passing out while blowing up all those balloons.

Eat a ungodly amount of beans, fill a entire bag of party balloons with farts. Then donate them to a child's birthday party and proceed to encourage the kids to pop the balloons.

I use my mouth and lungs but cannot tie it to save my life.

You have to like stretch it and wrap it around your thumb and then tuck it up into where it's wrapped around your thumb, withdraw said thumb, and let the elastic pull tight on itself.

That is the only way I know how to tie it. Worka though.

@Eriks89 That's good advice. I'm 48 and haven't tied a balloon successfully. :(

Find the largest I can in the shop, take a couple to the party and inflate by mouth as big as I can and dare the ladies to try larger. Sometimes they pop when I try to find how big they can get.
